To celebrate the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta, Pembleton introduced Ducky, Ted, and Blizzard to his old friend Mr. Peabody.
“Who is Mr. Peabody and why are you so excited for us to meet him?”, Ducky asked.
“Just wait. You’ll see”, Pembleton replied.
When they arrived, Mr. Peabody talked on and on about something he called a “wayback machine”. They all got inside the machine, and to Ducky’s surprise, they were suddenly transported back in time to 1215 in medieval England!
There were a bunch a funny looking men, all standing around a fancy piece of paper. Pembleton started geeking out, and Mr. Peabody explained that this historical document meant that the King or Queen of England had to follow their own laws. In essence, the Magna Carta established that no man, or animal is above the law.
After the signing of the document. Thy all got back in to the “wayback machine” and were instantly back in the year 2015. Ducky was really happy to be back home, because he was really hungry and it was snack time.
Ducky and the Gang are moving to Jolly O’ England after two years living in Israel! They are excited about their new adventures! Pembleton wants to visit the British Museum first, while Ducky wants to visit the Tower of London. Blizzard and Ted don’t have a preference as long as they get their sticky toffee pudding for dessert! However, they are a little nervous about making new friends at their new home.
The Great Tedzini put on his first show this weekend, to a packed house in our living room. Ted and Blizzard had been practicing in secret for days after getting a magic book from the local library. So when Pembleton witnessed Ted saw Blizzard in HALF he was HORRIFIED! But Ted and Blizzard just laughed, because they knew it was just an illusion.

Did you know you can ski in Israel? When Pembleton found out Mt. Hermon had snow and a ski resort, he couldn’t wait to take Ted and Blizzard on their first skiing adventure. Who would have known it would be in Israel?
Even though it was Ted and Blizzard’s first time skiing, they caught on very quickly. Pembleton instructed them on some basic techniques: to go forward keep your skis straight like french fries, to slow down and stop wedge your skis like a slice of pizza and to turn move your hips slightly in the direction you want to go. By the end of the end of the day, the little guys had skiing the bunny slope mastered. Ducky on the other hand, had some problems.
Ducky and Pembleton took Ted and Blizzard to visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. When Ted asked Ducky why we celebrate Dr. King’s Birthday, Ducky explained that Dr. King was the first man with X-ray vision and that he had super strength.
Then Pembleton butted in and explained how Ducky was all wrong. “Actually”, Pembleton said, “Dr. King fought inequality with peaceful protests, and taught us to treat each other equally.”
Then Ducky asked if he had to treat the Lambs equally, and Pembleton said, “Yes, even the Lambs.”
Last night Ducky and Pembleton saw a light in the forest. They were worried that it might be a forest fire so they decided to investigate. When they got a little closer they found that the light was actually a campfire and at that camp fire sat an old tortoise with a large gold medal around his neck.
Ducky said to the tortoise, “I’m Ducky and this is my brother Pembleton. Who are you and what are you doing camping out here by yourself?”
The tortoise replied, “I’m Lionheart, the bravest tortoise in the world, and I’ve come here seeking adventure. Have I ever told you about the time that I saved three possums from being eaten by a ferocious feline?”
Ducky and Pembleton thought it was strange that the Lionheart started telling them a story like they were old friends, but the story was exciting and full of danger, so they quietly listened both wondering where Lionheart had earned his medal. At the end of Lionheart’s story, Ted and Blizzard showed up wondering what was taking so long. Ducky introduced them to Lionheart, and Ted asked Lionheart the question that was on everyone’s mind, “Where did you get that medal?”
Lionheart leaned closer and squinted one eye, “Now that is a really interesting story. I received this medal for saving a queen bee from a clan of evil wasps while traveling through the Australian outback.” Everyone listened as the tale unfolded. It was a thrilling tail of mystery and danger and it ended with Lionheart receiving a gold metal from the worker bees for saving their beloved queen.
When the story was over, the first rays of morning light were peaking behind the bushes, and Pembleton said that it was time for everyone to get to bed. Ducky, Pembleton, Ted, and Blizzard reluctantly headed back to the house, while Lionheart stayed behind to sleep near his campfire. Their dreams were filled with swashbuckling and adventure.

Ducky, Pembleton, Ted and Blizzard had their first snow day of the school year yesterday. They were so excited. They had just seen Frosty the Snowman on T.V. Even though they do not have a magic hat, they still wanted to make a new winter friend.
Pembleton made the base, Ducky made the middle, and the little guys tried to make the head, but they needed a little help. Pembleton got a latter and placed the head on top. Ted added the eyes, Blizzard added a smile, Pembleton added the nose, while Ducky added the arms.
After the snowman was complete, Ducky thought it would be fun to have a SNOWBALL FIGHT! He scooped up a ball of snow and hurled it at Pembleton. It was a direct hit. Pembleton at first was shocked and then he laughed. He is the fastest snowball maker in town and within seconds he was ready for his attack. Their winter wonderland was transformed into a snowy battle.
Afterwards, they came inside to warm up by the fire and have some hot cocoa.
7 Days til Christmas!
Last night Ducky needed some peace and quiet, while he worked on his letter to Santa. First he tried working at the kitchen table, but the Lambs were busy making sugar cookies. Then he tried working at the coffee table, but Pembleton was watching a NOVA special on Mars. Finally he went to Pembleton’s office and locked the door, so he could fully concentrate on his letter to Santa. He wanted to make sure it was perfect and most importantly that he didn’t forget anything. He would cry if he forgot to list a whoopee cushion, tickets to Disney World, or a new horn for Ducky Ducky Bang Bang. After several hours, his letter and list were finally complete. Now all he needs is an envelope big enough to fit his letter.
20 more days til Christmas.
