Today at the beach Ducky found a bottle washed up on the shore. He heard a story about how people stranded on deserted islands sometimes put messages in bottles asking for someone to come and rescue them. Then Ducky thought, “maybe it’s a treasure map?” Ducky dusted the sand off the sides of the bottle and peered inside.

“Ouch!” A baby crab bit his beak. The bottle didn’t contain any message at all. It was just a home for a baby crab. Ducky carefully put the bottle back where he found it and ran off to splash in the water.

Once Captain One Mitten and his crew were in the pokey, the gang went home to reunite Mr. Sloth with his daughter, Abigail.

When they got home Ted, Blizzard, and Abigail were so happy everyone made it home safely. Abigail ran in to her father’s arms, giving him the biggest hug ever. Then she went over to Ducky and Pembleton who were standing near by, hugged them, and told them, “Thank you.”

Mrs. Cottontail invited everyone to stay for lunch. She was making vegetarian shepherd’s pie, one of Ducky’s favorites. During lunch, the phone rang. Mrs. Cottontail answered, “Hello…yes, he is here. One moment.” She turned to Pembleton and handed him the phone. After, a few yes ma’ams and a “We’d be delighted”. Pembleton hung up the phone.

“That was Queen Pugglesworth. She wishes to present us with the medal of bravery and heroics for our job well done. We are invited to the palace this evening and all of our friends are invited too.” Pembleton announced with excitement.

The End.

The Getaway.

Pembleton ran into the crown jewel exhibit just in time to see the robotic thief smash the bulletproof glass on the case containing the royal crown. Without hesitating Pembleton dove across the room and grabbed onto one of the robot’s legs to slow him down, but the robot was so strong that he just kept walking. When Ducky and Conrad made it into the room, Ducky grabbed Pembleton’s feet, and Conrad held on to one of Ducky’s feet. With all of their combined strength, they only managed to slow the robot. He just kept moving towards the window that he broke in through.

Pembleton frantically pulled out some wires in the robots leg but it only made the robot move faster! Eventually they had to let the robot go. It jumped out the window and ran into the darkness of the night.

To be continued …

Pembleton, Ducky, and Conrad try to stop the robot theif.

“We can’t let him go!”

Ducky and Pembleton were called in to rescue a rat that had gotten stuck in the wall after feasting on too many holiday goodies. When Ducky and Pembleton got to the house they found two legs and a rat tail sticking out of the wall.

Ducky went and got the butter to lubricate the rat. Several sticks of butter later, they managed to pull the rat out of the hole by his tail. They all agreed that the rat needed to find a home with a larger front door, so Ducky arranged for the rat to stay with a family of Opossums until he could find a new place.

This weekend Ducky and the gang are decorating the house for Christmas. They are ready to string lights, hang stocking, and of course put all the bells and whistles on the tree.  Every year, they get a special Christmas tree from Woody the beaver in the animal forest. This year’s tree is by far the most beautiful tree Ducky has ever seen. He couldn’t wait to tie the tree to Ducky Ducky Bang Bang and bring it home to Pembleton and the rest of the gang.

Earlier this week, Ducky ran into Christmas Koala while shopping for some new sweat bands. As always, Christmas Koala gave him an offer, Ducky couldn’t refuse.

Ducky got a gym membership at the Koala Klub for a great deal, and he is already seeing results! Ducky thinks Pembleton will be jealous.

Last night the gang had a great time trick or treating. They got lots of candy, treats, and other sweet surprises. They also had the best costumes in the neighborhood.

When they got home, they were not quite ready for bed. After their baths, the humans popped them some popcorn, and put in the movie Hocus Pocus. Shortly after the movie started, Rumpelstiltskin came out of the kitchen with a PB&J and joined them. Only Rumpelstiltskin stayed awake for the whole movie. I guess they will have to watch it again next year.

After a couple of incidents that Ducky doesn’t want to talk about, Ducky needed his own vehicle in order to get around. He went to his piggy bank and counted all his human money- $7.28. He then went to his turtle bank and counted all his animal money- 15 lime jelly beans and a linty licorice stick. Ducky was so proud of his savings and knew he would be able to get the perfect vehicle.

After collecting his money, he hopped on the city bus and headed for the Ferrari dealer. After being laughed at, he headed to the other local dealerships. No one wanted to sell him a sweet ride.

Feeling defeated, Ducky remembered his friend and local mechanic, Bio-Diesel Weasel, also sold used cars.  He headed over to Bio-Diesel Weasel’s shop right away. Once he laid eyes on an old timey car, he was hooked.

Ducky made Bio-Diesel Weasel an offer, he couldn’t refuse. He loved lime jelly beans. Plus he owed Ducky a favor, for rescuing his cousin from a cat. Later he threw out the linty licorice stick.

Ducky was now the proud owner of “Ducky Ducky Bang Bang” the loudest and oldest bucket of bolts on the block.  With the help of Mr. Lamb, Ducky was ready to hit the streets at a whopping 10 miles per hour.
