Ducky and Pembleton are enjoying the winter wonderland called New York! This weekend they went to Bear Mountain State Park to go  sledding. They had so much fun racing down the hill and frolicking in the snow. Ducky was so impressed with how fast Pembleton could go on his belly and tried it himself. However, he just rolled down the hill creating a giant snowball around him. Then Ducky got his sled out. Ted and Blizzard were so excited to go sledding for the first time. They couldn’t believe how fast they went down the hill and how good Ducky was at driving the sled.

The Lambs took time off from bell ringing this Christmas season, to do  a little shopping and celebrating of their own at a German Christmas Market. They had some Lebkuchen (a type of soft gingerbread cookie) and hot cocoa. They bought each other some nice German crafted gifts and some wooden toys for the Animal Humane Society’s Angel Tree.

While cleaning their room and going through their old toys, Ducky and Pembleton discovered their old kite. Ted and Blizzard asked “What is that?”

Ducky and Pembleton couldn’t believe they had never seen a kite. Instead of explaining Pembleton said “Let’s go to the park, right now and we will show you.” Ducky was so excited, he could barely stand it.

Once they got to the park, Pembleton quickly assembled the kite and Ducky helped to launch it in to the air.  In just a few seconds, the kite was high in the sky. Ted and Blizzard were amazed at how high the kite could go. Pembleton even did a few tricks.

Now Ted and Blizzard want their own kite, but not as big as Pembleton’s kite.
