Morning of the Thanksgiving Celebration

Wake up! Wake up!

Thanksgiving morning, Pembleton and Blizzard got up early and woke up Ducky and Ted (who were still snoozing at 8:30am).

At school they learned about Thanksgiving and why they celebrate it.

Finally, they celebrated the holiday with a big feast and plenty of pie.

Ducky and the gang wish you a wonderful and happy thanksgiving. They also wanted everyone to know how thankful they are for all of their great fans.

The class gathered around the table to celebrate Thanksgiving. Before they dug in to their delicious meal, they each said what they were thankful for.

Ducky and Ted were thankful for friendship and pie.

Pembleton and Blizzard were thankful for learning and family.

The lambs were thankful for time off of school and polka music.

While Mrs. Cottontail was thankful for her health and good students.

After eating way to much and enjoying many laughs, Ducky and friends were ready for a nap.

We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

“Good morning class,” Mrs. Cottontail exclaimed, “Who can tell me why we celebrate Thanksgiving?”

“To have a day off from school” said Rodolph the lamb.

“We do get the day off,” said Mrs. Cottontail, “but that is not the reason.”

“To eat lots of pie?” Ducky Asked.

“We do eat lots of pie,” Mrs. Cottontail replied, “but that’s not quite it.”

“I know, I know!” Pembleton shouted. “To give thanks for all the wonderful friends, family and blessing we have in our lives.”

“Exactly Pembleton.” Mrs. Cottontail smiled. “Now lets celebrate.”

“These costumes are cool.” Ducky said on their way to school, “but why are we all dressed up?”

“I know, I know” said Blizzard. “Today we are celebrating Thanksgiving.”

“Thanksgiving!” Ted said. “What’s that?”

“Just wait” Pembleton said. “Mrs. Cottontail, our teacher, will explain everything.”

The day before Thanksgiving, Pembleton and Blizzard woke up bright and early. Ducky and Ted, however needed their beauty sleep.

“Wake up, wake up. It’s time for school.” Pembleton shouted as he shook Ducky. “We have to get ready for school.” After several attempts, Ducky and Ted were finally up.
